Hello everybody!My name is Verena, I am 23 years old and Austrian citizen. After successfully graduating from university with a Bachelor degree I am currently fulfilling voluntary work for an NGO in the middle of nowhere in Cambodia until the end of February 2018.As I already did a 6-month internship in a Treasury department in London and a 4-month internship in Canada in the area of Accounting I decided a Financial Consulting position would be the perfect fit for me.However, the question I am asking myself at the moment is: Is it possible to apply for a Consulting Traineeship in Europe even though I am in Asia at the moment? I would like to come back and start working in April or May and I am honest, I kind of get a bit stressed as I do not want to miss a chance to get into a program I would really like such as KPMG or Deloitte.What is your opinion on that? Any experiences so far?Furthermore, do you think it is wise to apply somewhere in Asia for a Consulting position even though it is really competitive and my chances in Europe would be better as my mother tongue is German and I do not know any Chinese or Japanese?Thanks a lot for your help, I really appreciate every answer.Best wishes,Verena
