Guys,I have been considering to buy Rolex submarine for a long time. What do you guys think? Too flashy? too much to have in front of a client?

Isn't it "submariner"?But yeah, my advice would be, if you want it and you've got the cash, get one!

Yes it is submariner. Thanks for you advice. I really want to get one, but have read so many opinion about having an expensive watch in front of a client that it made me a bit unsure.

To my way of thinking the acid test is are you wearing the watch or is the watching wearing you? If you feel comfortable and not self conscious with it then get it.

just get the silly thing. you stop noticing it after a month and it becomes very normal to you. you'd be lusting after it forever if you ddn't get it.

There are so many watches in that price range which are nicer, less bling and less mainstream. Get the Rolex if you really like it or take a good look at IWC, Panerai, etc.

Go for the Daytona - a far better watch. As to your concerns this shows a serious lack of self worth - if you can afford it and you want it then go for it.if you value how your clients feel over how you feel then something is wrong in your life.
