Does anyone have an idea of salary levels in Switzerland in Consulting and the Financial Industry? I have 8 years experience within consulting (mostly IT - Sourcing, IT Governance, Operational efficiency, etc) for couple of big names in the UK and am considering couple of options I have in Switzerland. Any thoughts of what salary level I should be looking at? Thanks in advance

200k CHF - each kanton has different tax rules so watch out for that.

Depends where you are...if it is the french part (geneva/lausanne) - 200 K may just about work. If it&apos;s Zurich and surroundings, you may need more. Rents are sky high and a loaf of bread costs 5.5 CHF...(more than 3 pounds)

Thanks both for the reply. One option is indeed in Zurich and the other in Basel - I will keep your advice in mind about Zurich being much more expensive.
