I am considering doing an executive MBA (LBS, Chicago, Duke Cross Continent are a few of the schools I am considering). How do consulting companies/ investment banks view such degrees? Are they as highly regarded as full time programs? I have worked in the oil industry (engineering then acquisitions & divestments, economics, negotiation, other commercial work) my entire career but may consider a change of industries after an MBA. I am in my late twenties so I could still pursue a full time program. I just think the executive MBA is a better fit, more global and I want the opportunity to apply what I learn in the work place. Are there any strong advantages of a full time MBA over an executive MBA.
