Acn were recruiting at my Uni today. Is there lots of work to keep future analysts busy?

They need a pipeline of new analysts even if they are not busy at the moment

Analyst bench is as lower than it's been in s long time so yes there's lots of work going on

I'm starting next year as an analyst, moving from a comfortable position within the big four. Is this a wise move? I'm thinking in terms of job security and the increase in work now that we're seeing signs of recovery.

Promotions have been dismal this year, so there's a backlog of candidates across all levels that will eventually need to be promoted next year (else they face losing a lot of employee morale and trust). So they will need to fill the bottom ranks through grad recruitment. It's also common practice for big 4s to establish a presence on campus regardless of whether there are positions. I know of one case where a MBB were not hiring, but still garnering interest from grads for the sake of appearances.

The pipeline is pretty good, so very little chance of you wasting away on the bench, especially if you've got any technical skills.

SAP bench in the UK is fairly low as well - so if you already have skills in that direction expect to be staffed almost immediately.
