I've heard rumors that the sitution at Proudofot is pretty bad and they are about to close. Can anybody confirm or shed light on it?

Really? I just saw an advertisement for various consulting roles. Would seem strange that they are actively hiring if their situation was that bad.Was thinking of applying, but was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what type of work they do - strategy consulting? process improvement? Do they do any Systems Integration work?

Does it say on the advert? Maybe they have a website?

@ anonYes they probably do have a web site, but you may have noticed that not all companies are entirerly honest on their web site. Part of the point of this forum is to debunk the corporate pitch that you get from ads and web sites by hearing from people who have worked for or with those firms.Bob's question is a good one.

Perhaps playing the old trick of when things are bad, advertise for staff, make everyone think you are doing really well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that really an old trick? One of our competitors is doing it right now, and I can't for the life of me understand how they are making a profit let alone recruiting staff!
