Consultancies specialising in pharma

Hi - I'm looking to utilise my industry experience in pharmaceuticals to get into consultancy. I've tried the bigger consultancies but because my background is more communications/marketing, I've had no luck. Anyone know of any smaller consultancies that perhaps specialise in pharma who would be interested in someone with my background?

PA Consulting has a big life sciences division, but that whole organisation is not a happy place right now

IMS are pharma specialists, particularly in market research. ZS Associates do a lot (a majority?) of their business with pharma, specifically around sales/marketing. You could leverage your marketing experience (play up any quant marketing experience perhaps) to either of those two. IMS were recruiting recently, but I don't know about ZS.

CRA and PA should be avoided in my opinion, both going through turmoil in other non pharma areas. Neither are happy ships, from what i gather. If you have pricing/reimbursement or market access experience, you have a few options beyond the larger firms. I've heard Navigant are building and LS/Pharma practice in Europe... dont know a massive amount about them though

15 months late... how timely. AND only providing hearsay. From your other posts under other names "wallstreetmonkey", I'd guess you've never worked in consulting and have no basis to comment. In the words of a wise man, shudduppayourface.
