1. Yes I think there is a car allowance.2. Public Sector; Education in particular.3. Culture is good in Cap in general. You'll probably work 11/12 hour days Mon-Thurs but you get Friday at home/ base location.4. If you are competent then you would expect to be MC in 2/3 years.Cap is probably strongest in Strategic IT advisory more than any other area, so its certainly not a bad BU to be in.

Salary band is £45k - £65k - no car allowance as such but a strong, flexible bens package.Public Sector, but also FS and Utilities.Promotion to MC dependant on where you fit within SC, but achievable within 1 - 2 years.I actually recruit for CapGemini, so feel free to leave a message here if you would like to talk in more depth.

Apply online via the UK Capgemini website - your CV will go directly to the Recruitment Manager looking after these vacancies and she will get back to you.

At 38, with 16 years experience, am I too old for a SC role? Problem is I have done a wide range of things but only a few years IT Advisory, so I am way behind my peers who have focused on this area. I wouldn't want to be years older than others on the same level. Also, I'm earning at the top of the SC band. I should really go in as MC but not sure if I have sufficient experience. Question is - would I fit it?

You could apply directly online, but then you will have no one to chase up your application or to guide you through the interview process - but that's your decision.Obviously this is an open forum, but hey. I'll give you my private email and we'll go from there: markyp101@hotmail.comThanks.

As Nicky said, all applications via our website are handled directly by the Recruitment Manager for that role (in this case I would be the person reviewing applications). Capgemini is an equal opportunities employer and we would welcome an application from you if you wished to apply.
