Hey,Given the large number of redundancies in the consulting sector, I was curious to see what type of jobs ex-consultants found? I'll get the ball rolling, left a well regarded boutique (think OC&C, Roland Berger) in Dec'08 (had 3 years experience)...now working as a Strategy Manager for a large retailer. Similar pay, but much less travelling & hours in the office :)

left my job as an Engagement Manager at the strategy arm of a Big 4 in June'08....now working for an in-house strategy team for a major mobile operator...projects are still challenging and variety still there, but just without the ego-maniacs and the hours!
