10-15%? Not recently, and I doubt it will be this year.

On a similar note....What salary could one expect joining Deloitte at a regional office with 2 years consulting experience?

SC total reward (pay + car + pension + other bens) band is £40k-£55k in London. Bonus is likely to be 0-5% this year.2 years consulting experience would either be 2nd yr Analyst or 1st yr Cons depending if the expereince is with a better firm than DC or not. The range is therfore wide at £30-40k.

Senior Manager

Interestingly I had this conversation this week with their HR dept during a phone interview. Whlist I was aware that they paid less than others I was surprised at the actual level. At Senior Manager based in a regional office the basic was £58K.

Senior Manager - that is way out. £58k is top-end SC salary. Manager starts at £63k and SM starts at about £80k, even adjusted for regional offices.

Seconded. People are posting some rubbish on this thread. There is no way a SC's "total reward" is as low as £40k. The basic was £52k when I reached that level a few years ago.

Some real rubbish being posted here. As far as I know the band starts at £49k and runs to £58 + £5k benefits.

For those of you - I assume currently employed by Deloitte - who consider outsiders such as myself are posting rubbish I suggest you take such matters up with your HR dept.I can provide the name of the person in HR who gave me the information I posted last week. 58K for senior manager at a regional office 63K for London and yes, within Consultancy. Whilst these were stated as starting point these are the figures stated. If you are so sure that these figures are incorrect then I can only assume that Deloitte are taking advantage of the current situation in the market. I have no need to lie, but pleased I am not taking matters further.

Senior Manager, probably worth double checking.SMs/ADs in the audit/corporate finance area may be on 60 - 70, but if SMs in Deloitte Consulting were on low 60's, surely noone would work for them when the base salary alone for a new junior manager in Acn exceeds that?

HR are probably saying that to lower your expectations so if you did want to join they can get you for cheaper. Basically, you were played.

Unfortunately for people who wish to play games in this market you get found out.I know of another person - different skill set and lower grade - also provided with salary information which he found a shock and that was a London base. Far lower than would be expected. So, either the roles do not exist but advertising and taking people to telephone interview has been planned to make it look in the market (people talk) as if Deloitte have loads of work, or back to trying to get people for peanuts.Whatever the 'truth' neither I or my ex colleague will be interested in Deloitte either now or in the future. But then I am sure that many will hold the view that the views of a few people are unimportant. Once again people talk and tend to have long memories.
