Whilst I'm sure that PA's leaders aren't aiming for decreasing circles, it is somewhat hard to see what they / we are aiming for.Out of the many possible measures to gauge the success of a firm's strategy, it's hard to know which ones have been employed at PA in recent times e.g.- maintaining or growing market share- maintaining or growing solution offerings- maintaining or growing regional or national presence- retaining or developing capable people to enable ongoing delivery of a long term go to market strategy- maintaining an appropriate public presence / building awarenessWhat is still clear though is that PA is still a good profitable firm which counts for a lot in these troubled times. What's lacking for me is a sense of the medium to long term vision for the firm, or the degree to which the leadership have personally committed to it.PA people seem to be a generally capable bunch, but from corridor mutterings we seem to be in danger of losing morale (and people) unless the leadership become less interested in unimportant staff like controlling what colleagues write / blog online and focus more of their talent / energy in being visible and bolder in their vision and their willingness to discuss it / sell it.PA still has a lot going for it; both as a firm and a place to work, despite the pretty negative rants on here - more visible leadership and ambition would I'm sure be very well received by staff.
