Can anyone recommend a good recruitment consultant/ consultancy firm? I'm looking to make a move from my firm after 3 years either into another consultancy firm (cognisant that this is unlikely at the moment) or preferably, I think into industry.Don’t want to be any more specific in case colleagues are reading this but any names/ firm recommendations gratefully received.

For moves out of consulting I would recommend speaking with the firm Holker Watkin - they specialise in placing ex-consultants (top tier) into strategic roles in industry and banking, so an excellent firm for helping with a move to eg. a FTSE 100 company. Nick Coppin and Dave Watkin are a couple of people I know there personally. As regards recommending recruitment firms who can help with moves between consulting firms, I'll leave other readers to respond as clearly many of these firms are our clients and I don't ever seem to be able to make such recommendations on this forum without someone saying my advice is skewed by this commercial relationship...Good luckTony Restell - Top-Consultant.comRevitalising Your Consulting Career --- Securing a Career Move in Consulting in 2009

I certainly wouldn't rule out a move to another consulting firm by the way. Sure it's a lot trickier to make such a move now than it was 18 months ago, but there's still some movement going on - and I'll be exploring in depth how to make such a move at our 29th June workshop. Perhaps see you there?Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com
