Hia little bit of my background:- grauduated top uni, 2 year ago, msc in IT- will grauduate the same uni, msc in management and marketing (with strong financial background ) in 2010- 1st year of phd in IT (not quite sure about continuing this, depends on my career)- 2 years experience as a software developer- good social skills- 26 yoI am thinking about my next career step. Have an oportunity to have a practices (at least 2 months, hope to stay longer) for Deloitte or something connected to IB (i.e. investment funds) or for a top 10 company (still dont know the exact position).I have good maths skills, technical and financial skills. Interested in financial analysis (have a home practise in a stock market).I am thinking about something connected to IB, i like financial analysis. But i dont want to be a trader! I know that work, and know its boring (no offence).I dont know if my background is enough to get something more than bottom/junk job, especially in IB. I dont know what exactly could i do in IB, of course ffinance, but i still think they do mostly trading and maths jobs. Of course, i am not sure of getting a job after this 2 months intern in a firm i choose. So my questions to you are:1. How do you think, how can i valuate my cv more, what should i do after those 2 months in a chosen firm (if they dont hire me). Valuate i mean in case of strat house or IB. Still dont know which paths is better for me.2. Does my IT skills valuate? In that case. (i am not going to do it job)And, thanks for any feedbackPS. I am kinda concerned about my idea to get away from IT. All in all, great pay per hours and the best w/l balance (i work efficently 25-30h per week). But i think i could do more chalenging and creative job. Of course i am not talking about programmers job, becouse i could do a PdM or software architect job, but it will not give me CEO for the next 20 years;). At least after one year i can always come back to IT.
