Hello Everyone,I'm about to enroll in a course at Warwick University this October and hopefully would graduate as an MSc in Supply Chain Management one year later. I was thinking of looking at jobs in Supply Chain Consulting area after graduation, but was not sure if I would be qualified enough and if not, where the gap was.The following is my brief background:===============================- 12 years of work experience in 3rd-Party Logistics industry (5 years with UPS Supply Chain Solution);- Professional Diploma of Operational Manager in Logistics (awarded by The Chartered Institute of Logistics UK)- Advanced Diploma of Strategic Manager in Logistics (awarded by The Chartered Institute of Logistics UK)- MSc in Supply Chain Management (to be awarded)- SAP Consultant Certification (to be awarded)===============================Do you think that I would be considered a competitive applicant if I applied for a job in Supply Chain Consulting area? If not, what do you think might be my weaknesses and any suggestions to bridge the gap? Your comments would be very helpful for me to choose the electives and to take up extracurriculum training course.Any advice would be highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.CeciliaP.S. I'm an Asian female - I guess some would say that wouldn't affect my job prospect, but could it be a disadvantage in fact? It seems to me that there are not a lot of female consultants.
