The company I work for introduced a VR package some time in the past. For one reason or another, I am not eligible to apply. However, the last time a VR package was announced at the firm, an ineligible employee applied and was successful.If I apply and am unsuccessful, should I be worried about being put on a CR list of some sort? Would I even need to explain myself to HR and managers?Any help would be great.

HR departments would typically treat VR applications confidentially - I know the firm I worked took this very seriously, and were very transparent as to the selection criteria for CR which inolved metrics and performance appraisals. Placing you in the CR list simply for applying for a VR would be grounds for unfair dismissal case, so you should be OK.
