Hi,My P45 is currently held at the JobCentre's head office (Glasgow) as I'd been claiming JSA during my job hunt. They told me that it would take 2/3 weeks for them to return my P45 back to me once I've found a new job.However, if I was to recieve a job offer that required me starting more quickly...is it possible that I can start work there before their HR team gets my P45?I suppose I would be liable to pay an 'Emergency Tax Rate' in the meantime but its something which I'd be happy to do.Can anyone shed any light on this?Thanks very much.
