I've got my partner interview next week and have a couple of questions for any PWCers out thereAt my last interview they thought I would either be a Consultant or Senior Consultant, but they were non-commital. I'm not from a consulting background so can anyone shed light on what the difference is (deliver vs. lead assignments, sales targets etc.)Also, what would the salary ranges be?

Analyst- Carries out analysis and monkey work for parts of projects.- Normally has 0-1 year consulting experience or 1-3 years industry experience.Big 4 Salary: £30-38KConsultant- Carries out analysis and takes charge of small parts of projects.- Normally has 2-4 years consulting experience or 4-7 years industry experience.Big 4 Salary: £38-50KSenior Consultant- leads a stream of the project and takes responsibility for failure of that stream. Also has some sales targets.- Normally has 4-7 years consulting experience or 6-12 years industry experience.Big 4 Salary: £52-75KEngagement Manager- leads the project and takes responsibility for failure of entire project and managing of client's middle management and project leaders. Also has significant sales targets.- Normally has 6-12 years consulting experience over 10 years industry experience.Big 4 Salary: £70-100K
