Does Wipro havea good Management Consulting business in UK/Europe? Anyone here have any ideas on what salaries they offer and what is their work culture like? Thanks in advance.

They are heavily pitching for IT-related projects with very low md-rates in EMEA. 200-700 $ from what I have seen so far. Maybe worth to consider in 2012...but not today.If you pay peanuts, you´ll get monkeys to feed you!

Thanks hmm. So I guess since their bread & butter is IT, they seldom do "real" consulting. No point in talking about "consulting" salaries then? ;) Any one from Wipro who can share more info?

Not only would workign for Wipro NOT be consulting in any way, shape or form, but it woud brand you as a poor quality code-monkey for ever more( and thats assumign you like IT).The charge client about 250quid a day for work that contractors charge 500 a day for. Imagine what sort of quality people they provide to sit beside those self same contractors.If you can't work out what I'm suggestign here, then I suggest that you DO go and work for Wipro
