There are probably several happy people working there. But the days of these independent body shops are fast coming to a close as consolidation in this space leads the big discount body shop factories to look at acquiring at least some semblance of 'consulting' to sell through, and then rack up cheap project management/IT implementation hours behind it. Wipro, Infosys etc all seem to be taking this route, and PA would of course be a good target for a budget SI to acquire to sell through. Where does this leave Renoir? Too small to acquire, not sufficiently attractive to be acquired, they sit in the market like an Axon which time forgot. There are, undoubtedly, some good people languishing in their ranks, but frankly I suspect they are biding time or using it to plug a gap, and they are the minority. Basement level brand, aggressive culture, heaven help you on the bench, and no actual proposition in the market other than to sell itself on a cheap rate in God forsaken corners of the Earth no one want to go to (think low grade SI work for a regional Public Sector client in Hull and you're about there...).
