I have a good lead to a manager position at bearingPoint (OPEX). Does anybody has some info about BP. How are they positioned (compared to Big4 for instance) or other firms with OPEX practise. tnigs as type of projects, customers, industries, benefits etc.Thanks in advance

I dont think its a good idea to join BearingPoint unless you have no other options. Their financial situation is a mess, too much politics, top heavy structure and there is a strong rumor from sometime now that its most profitable sector i.e. public services will soon be acquired. BE's benefits are not that good as it is trying to cut cost so dont expect anything great.

Thanks for your reply Nick. Since I posted thsi thread I did some research and found an interesting site (www.glassdoor.com). A very usefull site, it publiseh salaries and reviews. And although all the imputs are anon. it still gives you a flavour. And in the case of Bearingpoint the feedback was not very good.....food for thought.....Any (ex) Bearingpoint on this forum....?

BP really are in a frightful state. Even at the height of the market, the firm was losing money and looking for a buyer (just do a media search on the business press). I'm very surprised the firm is still around; the current environment can't be helping the situation.

Breakingpoint will not find a buyer as it has scary lawsuits and debt hanging over it. Since the stock was delisted, potential buyers have been waiting for it to fail completely at which point hte assets will be snapped up without the liabilities...
