Seems that every consulting point thread disappears - especially when someone challenges how the TC awards process is carried out and no good explanation is forthcoming about why no-one speaks up to defend the winners against the hoards of negative comments appearing on this forum.Just to be clear there were no defamatory comments in the latest thread to go - just tricky questions (that remained unanswered!). It will be a pity if this forum becomes heavily censored.

It is a shame although not unexpected - tony has been deleting vaguely controversial threads for ages - not many anti BAS statements survive the cut either

I agree that no-one speaks up to defend the winners with something tangible, and I have also observed that its only CP, which is getting all this negative criticism, and it clearly indicates that there is some real problem with CP. Also, if there are other firms, then they should also be discussed now, rather after seeing there name at the top of rankings.

Just responding to this comment - I took the thread down rather than Tony. Not only had the thread had been live on the site for a very long time (since 13/9/2007) but I had grown weary of taking down those defamatory postings that never made it onto the forum and that you would never have seen. Ultimately however I had become increasingly concerned that not all the postings were genuine and were not being posted by 'candidates' that had worked with ConsultingPoint. I'm quite happy to answer any questions about the way we solicit responses for the recruitment channel report/awards again - but I can't see any questions about this on the thread that were not answered. Here is the most recent posting regarding the poll that I posted: "A note regarding last year's Recruitment poll - The votes achieved by recruitment firms who forwarded the survey to their candidates were a fraction of the total votes received. Top-Consultant.com solicited jobseeker responses to the poll through a wide range of channels. In many cases those recruitment firms that were sending out the survey to their contacts generated many more negative comments than positive comments (with each negative comment counting twice against each postive comment). This year, many recruitment firms (not ConsultingPoint incidentally) were absolutely clamouring for us to launch the survey - obviously so they could start to promote the survey to their contacts. In light of this we decided to only accept survey responses from jobseekers that we are in contact with directly ourselves without having to publish the link on the main site itself". I don't see how the TC awards process is any less transparent than the MBA rankings that kids on this forum wet themselves over.

How exactly do you know if the people posting the comments are real job hunters - you do not. As a serious job hunter I strongly object to your comments.As the person who posted a previous thread reagarding CP, which as I suspected was removed, I see little point in even using this site.Clearly your support would appear to be for CP and you are not taking an impartal stand - which I would have thought most people would expect from you!I rest my case, and wonder how long it will take ffor this to be removed.

The burden of proof is on you if you want to dirty other people's names. Provide your actual name and identifiable details. Until then, nobody will believe you are a genuine job-hunter. To be honest, from the way you write, you sound a lot more like a jealous rival than a management consultant.

Oh so the 20+ of us who all gave very honest information regarding our experiences with this company should all list our full names, phone numbers etc.Get a life and get in touch with the world of today. Perhaps a few months of job hunting would sort you out :-)

You didn't provide any information - about what type of job you were applying for, what happened, who you spoke to, etc. You just made baseless claims.If you write your deliverables and job applications anything like you make arguments on this forum, there's no wonder you are out of work and still job-hunting. Where's your evidence, your reasoning, and your connection between facts and hypothesis?

JA, you really need to get a life, the way you have written, I can clearly tell that you dont have any management consulting experience either but you are very happlily working for some recruiting firm....

The point originally made (and still unanswered) is that lots of people gave negative reviews but no-one gave a positive review of this company.Despite everyone being equally able to hide behind anonymity - none felt strongly enough to offer their support to counter the increasing number of negative comments.

Mr Clousseau, that assumes that people who used Consulting Point in the past still use this site. Perhaps they are all in their dream jobs, working both productively and hard, and have neither the time nor desire to come back to this site. Just a thought... I'd never heard of 'em before this thread!

Seems it's not the first time Consulting Point was protected...
