Hi,Salary bands are very loose at EY and it will depend on your current package and how well you negotiate. Rough band is probably from £80k to £110k no bonus at EY but you'll get flexible benefits (health, Dental etc) plus around £450 car benefit pcm

As a senior manager, you will have quite a demanding sales target which will be strictly enforced in the current market. BAS have been really struggling in many sectors to make sales which has resulted in an escalating level of people leaving (not redundancies, you understand!!) I would think long and hard about joining BAS as a Snr Mgr in the current environment

What is the package at Senior consultant level? Glassdoor is a bot thin on the ground for stats.Interesting that there is no bonus, unsual for an MC firm.

Bonus only for Partner level. This has caused a real headache for BAS in the current downturn. While everyone else can cut the bonus to keep jobs, EY doesn't have that luxury which is why EY will probably have more job cuts than our competitors

some one in the post above said, sales targets even at senior manager level in E&Y BAS.my understanding was that sales targets are mostly at Director and Partner levels. While Director and senior managers are mostly equivalent roles. the key difference lies that while directors are always accountable and responsible for sales targets.in case of senior managers it may / may not be the case depending upon the situation.pls. help clarify.

I'd be surprised if s.managers have sales targets and get no bonuses otherwise what do you have to motivate you? I'm also disapointed at how low bonuses are in consulting in general given the effort that's required.

An effect of years of grade inflation, the "senior manager" title at EY is actually quite junior - more akin to "associate" at other firms. There is a lot of confusion because the same title gets used by real senior managers (people who have management responsibility and are senior) within the same firm. Real senior managers have sales targets; senior managers in title only don't. There is a £30k-40k difference in base pay.
