Extra-curricular activities are not usually worth putting on an experienced-hire CV, unless they have a particular relevance to the job, or give a particular insight to the individual's personality.I'd allow one or two lines at most, and for current activities only. I wouldn't recommend putting activities from age 8-17 on your CV as it would be too much of a stretch to claim they had relevance to the job.I presume from the MBA and 8 years of experience that you are in your thirties. As such, I expect you probably have enough relevant experience to fill your CV entirely with targeted points demonstrating your ability to do the job at hand in a work setting. Do so.These comments are for job applications in Europe/North America/Australasia. However, I don't have the impression that Middle East employers have seized upon the transferable-skills and soft-skills concepts in a big way yet. Therefore, the more you stick to clear work-based evidence, the better.
