Hi. I have 1 years experience as a graduate associate consultant as a generalist and am due to do graduate soon.I am concerned that there will be redunancies in my firm over the next few months and I would be naiive to imagine that the gradautes would be left unscathed.If the axe is dropped, I would like to have a safety net in place - but what positions could I realistically apply for with my level of experience? I don't want to restart another grad programme...Thanks

Do everything to avoid being axed.If axed, you will likely have no choice but to restart at the bottom - one year's experience didn't count for anything even at the peak of the job market.

You'll probably survive if you are not too bad. The main reason is that you're cheap. I don't mean that to sound rude as it's fact!
