I am a chartered Engineering with a PhD in Chem Eng and 5 years exp in the pharma industry...I am into my 4th month as a consultant in a big four company... What kind of opportunities do you think there will be to get back into industry in a few years (no more than 3)Just think the lifestyle is not sustainable so need to make sure I can go back in at a much higher level to say that it was worth it..Or should I even consider just going the full hog as a consultant and hope the hours get better??Although I am enjoying what I do.. there seems to be a hell of a lot of negative thoughts around consultancy jobs at the moment which is a bit dishaeartening to say the least!!What are your thoughts?
