It's a common joke amongst MBBB partners that they often write their shopping lists in the same format they write their powerpoint presentations. Of course, in reality, they don't - but it sounds all social and jokey to say it, and they think it makes them sound like a true dedicated professional even though all of us can see right through it. Kind of like when I was in a meeting with a MBBB partner who turned up late and said "sorry I'm late, we had a break-in at my home last night... but for some reason they only took my briefcase" with a phoney puzzled look on his face.
