Anyone heard back from Bain or McK???

I understand the Bain is under major strategic review of core business operations and performance. It was primarily been spawned by the turlulence and gyrations in the financial sector, which has been a significant source of revenue and income.Mck on the other hand has always effectively and tactically positioned itself in the sphere of opeations excellance and permance management, this market, whilst slowing signs of contraction and consolidation, is not has dire as the financial sectorZB

ZB strikes again...I have a friend working in Bain and we (new applicants) should hear back in a about week.Regarding Bain's current situation, I can understand where you might think it is facing difficulties. As the market leader in private equity you would expect a reduction in the number of deals and the subsequent reduction in office utilisation. However, a large portion of PE was probably sold out of the London & New York offices. I would expect consultants from these offices are being forced to travel internationally whereas before they were staffed locally.In terms of McK I believe they do a lot of work in general finance and sustainability, which I also believe are affected by the current economic climate. In the end only the firm's partners really know how affected the utilisation is at Bain or Mck.It is definately not ZB.

I have scheduled my interview with Bain on the 16th of Dec. Anyone else on the same day??? if yes, what should we expect from the first interview?
