unless you are moving onto a senior role with TCS, avaoid them. They make junior employees work round the clock and pay you very little in the process. You will get large company experience ( large projects), and brand name in the space.

Thanks for your response. As it sounds as if you have 'insight' to TCS could I ask you a question regarding the culture pls?Shall I just say that at interview it was made rather clear that a lot of people do not get on with doing things the TCS way as it is very different from the norm. I do not want to join a company and within weeks or months realise it was a mistake! Any further points will be welcome.

the comment abpout the TCS team about how many ppl dont get along with the working culture is interesting.Ask them why is that? Is it because of the type of work, the hours, the salary etc...I'm pretty sure that its because TCS body shops its employees- gives them menial duties at low pay and expects you to work long hours. No wonder many ppl leave. But, if you are a graduate, probably just take it and put up with it for a year or so. It wont be pleasant, but the brand will open many doors for you later on.
