Anybody been to a final round assessment day for KPMG IT advisory at Manager/Senior Manager level....?Any thoughts/input/useful info/advice...?

Just be aware that much of their work is audit work, not consulting, no matter how much they try to say otherwise.Sure, it's in the 'advisory' department, but if you're working on 100% audits, you're an auditor not an advisor.

ITA is divided internally into two areas: Performance (consulting) and Governance & Compliance (assurance / audit). If you have a consulting / industry background you will be hired into the performance area of ITA and will not be asked to work on audits. In terms of the assessmentment day - its pretty typical stuff. Good luck!

Prepare for lots of questions about your practice-building and people management skills, and ability to manage time and juggle those duties with a full sales and delivery workload. It's the big focus in the M/SM group at the moment and cause of recent turnover.
