Can anyone recommend anywhere to do technology consulting in London?I spent 2 years at Accenture and went from Analyst to C1 (consultant) but left a year ago because I needed to be back in London full time. My current role isn't working out and I'm looking to get back into consultancy.What sort of firms do similar stuff to Accenture, but could guarantee being based in London?

Deloitte have similar competencies to Accenture, but with much less orientation on outsourcing/off-shoring. My knowledge is that we are recruiting for roles across our Technology Integration practice. You could be based out of London (in time I have been with the Firm I haven't had a long term project out of London) , but as ever with consulting you go where the work is.

Do you have Capital Markets / Financial Services experience? If so you can join a Capco, IBM, E&Y and more likley than not will be in London - there are also some more nicher players that you can dig out - but again - to be in London you need to have the skills that the ultimate client's in London will want and at the moment its very Financial Services heavy...
