I Have more than 6 Yrs Experience in Performance Management, Project Management, Process Streamlining/Improvement, MIS-Data Mgmt, Analytics, Client Mgmt, Operations Mgmt, Team Mgmt. I didn't have a direct experience of consultancy position but these above roles have a direct/indirect link towards Consultancy specifically Management Consultancy.I am desperate to establish my career in Consultancy. reading the description of original message, its a perfect case for thrashing or lets say the original message can be taken up as a "case study" - how to write a bad paragraph :)

Hi Manu, the CV you're registered is visible to top-consultant clients, but this forum is independent of that side of the business. Therefore, the forum users won't be able to comment on anything you've put in that document. You could post a summary of your roles, to supplement the information you've provided on your skill areas.To understand how you could get into consultancy, you might want to start with a target role profile. To start, you could identify role characteristics along the follow lines:*geography/location*function*industry*career level/salary criteria

Thanx Anon for the above guidance......I have worked for four & half years on a profile where :- 1. Various Govt. Departments/Boards/ Corporations outsource their respective processes for automation/e-Governance to my Organisation2. I used to conduct onsite process analysis (document as-is process) on behalf of Chief Technology Officer3.Preparation of IT Plan on the basis of process analysis detailing (to-be process after identifying gaps):-(a)Software Modules to be prepared(b)Hardware/Softwares to be procured/installed(c)Manpower required (For Data Conversion and Module Programming)(d)Client Management(e)Ensuring adherence to timelines (f)Overall Project Costing (g)Phase-wise Automation/e-GovernanceMaintenance of overall Project MIS including Resource payroll(h)Management of Ops Reviews(i)Multiple Project Management(j)Worked as an extended arm to CTO in routine operations & team handling Apart from the above I have one & half years experience in telecom customer complaint resolution process, where :- (a) Initially i used to resolve complaints/queries of telecom customers(b) Handling Overall Process MIS/WFM(c) Identification of gaps and preparation/implementation of relevant action plans alongwith Ops Management(d) Conducting Root Cause Analysis(e) Process Mapping, Managing Ops Reviews/Audits, Client Management etc......after going through the above kindly guide what should be my target role in consultancy.....regarding work location i am open to work anywhere in world (but require sponsership).....salary could be equivalent to initial/middle level consultancy roles.....ideal industry could be Cust Service/Telecom/Banking/Finance and any other relevant domain.....pls guide me after considering the above.......i will be highly obliged......
