Hi,I started my career in strategy a couple of years ago and I am a rather system-oriented person.I have met today former employees (worked in the niche consultancy firm I am currently working for) who are now successful associates and VPs in places like Deloitte, KPMG and Shell. Not by chance I guess, they are all involved in Business Modelling. Apparently, the way we work here seems to foster business modelling skills. Did not have time to talk with them about what business modelling is all about, and here I am. Is there anybody in this forum who can help me understand what is all about, what skills are needed and what are possible career paths?
