I have been working as an MC for five years but would like to pursue a career in the MC industry. How should I approach the switch and can anyone provide me with tips from making the transition themselves?I believe I have good transferable skills. I work on complex events such as weddings, to short deadlines for raves where the venue and logistics are announced only at the last minute.I have to work with children at bar and bat mitzvahs, which would be transferable to working with immature and simple-minded clients. I am accustomed to presenting to large audiences under pressure and, with my experience of talking over the DJ, I feel I will be able to hold my own in large project management meetings. I am well-accustomed to pulling all-nighters so do not anticipate any problems with the working hours in consulting.What else should I be aware of and consider when presenting myself to consulting employers?Thanks
