... then this forum becomes quite boring.I've realised that there's only so much "new" topics you can talk about on this forum, after which it gets a bit dull.

Time to split the forum between management & IT. That would open up new avenues for debate and hopefully reduce the antagonim between consultants and techhies

I'd prefer it to be split between grads and experienced folk. There are only so many "I have decided that consulting is my destiny and would like some advices (sic)" posts you can read in a month without going nuts.

One option would be to simply group the discussions into different topics, using something like vBulletin. They have done this kind of thing well on the Money Saving Expert website, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/

The SVP is right, this is a horribly designed forum with no structure at all, which doesn't allow threads/themes to develop through sustained discussion and means that the same threads keep coming up again and again. Using something like vBulletin would improve it enormously.
