HiI come from a shipping background, working in operational and strategy roles for vessel owners and container companies. I have strong academics including now a top MBA, and am now looking to get into consultancy. I know of some specialist consultancies like Drewry Shipping and ICE, but does anyone know if any of the bigger guys have a shipping industry focus or can anyone recommend any strategy / operational consultancies within shipping?Many thanks

I don't know of shipping-focussed consultancies.Larger consultancies more commonly have a broader focus, either as "transport" consultancies with shipping teams, or as "generalist" consultancies with transport teams. In either case, shipping experts are employed alongside airfreight, rail and road haulage specialists (for example). These consultants would then be deployed to relevant projects.
