The Tefen Interview ProcessThis process includesPhone interview (informal discussion on experience, roles, company, culture, lifestyle etc)Tests (Standard SHL Verbal and Numerical reasoning tests)Face to Face interviews with The Head of Operations and a Partner or Director focussing on Consulting competencies and Technical experienceAssessment Centre (for Manager Level and above) Half a day including an interview, in-tray exercise and role play.As you can see this process is quite involved and demonstrates the commitment Tefen has in having the right people in the organisation. Once in the Tefen individuals have the opportunity to continue to develop with training in 6 sigma and Prince 2 among other things. The turnover rate for consultants is under 14% which is testament to a focus on individual needs and an acknowledgment that people are central to the company’s success.Graham PageHead of HR and Operations

FAO: "A Nonny Mouse" and any other readers who have had comments deleted (you are a rare breed).Let me be quite clear about why your comments have been deleted. You are making allegations that could result in a damages claim against Top-Consultant. Your postings are anonymous and you are in no way indemnifying us against any resulting damages claim that may be brought against us.The amounts that niche consultancies spend with us are small and it's not the case that firms can just call us up and ask for all negative comments about them to be removed - any regular reader will know that there's plenty of negative comments posted here about lots of our biggest advertisers. Any censoring of content is not driven by the risk of losing an advertiser, which would have a negligible impact on the business, but rather by the risk of us facing a damages claim that could prove financially ruinous.I'm sorry you hold us in such low esteem that you think our editorial policy is driven purely by commercial considerations. Clearly you don't know me personally or indeed any other members of our team to be making such an allegation. We will continue to try and leave forum content as untouched as possibleTony RestellTop-Consultant.com

Thanks for clarifying, it's a shame as i would have liked to understand what the experience was that 'A nonny mouse' had with this company. This board is for sharing experiences and if those aren't to the satisfaction of a particular company they have the opportunity to respond. I only saw one email and it didn't seem like cause for a damages claim; merely dissatisfaction with Tefen and the way they treat employees.

Tony, your claim here that you have deleted not just a post from someone who I seem to recall was attempting to state the truth of their experience of the interview process and actually being selected and working with this particular consultancy, because you feel damages could be claimed against you is just totally ridiculous! You have also now deleted all the posts made by neutral contributors, which made no comment concerning any aspect of this consultancy - good or bad. I am the principal of an independent consultancy. You have deleted my post in this topic. Nothing which I posted made any allegation against Tefen nor indeed any reference to them. Yet you have deleted all of the posts in this topic, including that by me and those by others who also made no statements against Tefen. You ought to be able to see that your behaviour here is that of a paranoid? As "interested" has now posted, "it's a shame as i would have liked to understand what the experience was that 'A nonny mouse' had with this company. This board is for sharing experiences and if those aren't to the satisfaction of a particular company they have the opportunity to respond. If this is the state that Top Consultant has now put itself into then I for one want no more to do with you. Your behaviour seems to exhibit bias and an attempt to throttle good honest reports of consultants experience. That is not a good way forwards. I would have no quibble with any consultant who who posted any criticism of their experience with my company. I would respond to it and either explain why it was not valid comment or apollogise and state that

Libel or no libel is after all about stating the truth in written form and being able to prove that it is true or not. It is all about proof of the truth. If there is not evidence to prove the truth then it may be libelous even though it is the truth. You have also now deleted all the posts made here by other neutral contributors, which made no comment concerning any aspect of this consultancy - good or bad. I would have no quibble with any consultant who who posted any criticism of their experience with my company. I would respond to it and either explain why it was not valid comment or apologize and state that we had learned from that and would treat consultants more considerately and appropriately in the future. Yet you imply that if anyone posts their experiences on your forum about any consultancy they have worked for which is not singing the praises of that consultancy then you will delete those posts! How is anyone going to get a balanced view if you do that?:It cannot be overlooked that you have deleted all posts responding to the OP in this topic except the one from the Tefen Head of HR and Operations. If you cannot see that makes you look extremely stupid then there is no hope for you! It remains to be seen whether you delete this post of mine again now and also that of "interested". If you do then we shall all know the truth concerning Top Consultant. Rod F Principal, Worldwide Consultancy

BTW, one other point; you claim that all other postings hereon were anonymous. That just is not true. I gave my true name and it seems others did also. It was it seems only the poster responding to the OP who did not identify themselves. Rod F Principal, Worldwide Consultancy

I am going through the interview process with the NY office. Is there anything that you can tell me that will help me out or is there someone that you know of that you can talk to in order to put in a good word for me. I really want to land this position.
