Hi everyone,What is the best option for a fresh graduate: _Join Consulting and doing PowerPoint slides for 2-3 years. _Or, going into the industry, get responsibilities for 2-3 years and then join Consulting.

It depends a lot on the roles/organisations in both consulting and industry. Can you name or describe them?

It’s a very interesting question. In my opinion, going in industry and joining consulting is the right choice. I'm observing engineers doing consulting without business experience. They deal with PPT documents and presentations. It's a big harm!!!!!!

Large telecom (BT, Voda etc) and then consultancy after a few years, or straight into deloitte/PwC etc?

I see you put Deloitte/PwC. Does that mean after working on a telecom type grad scheme, the Deloitte's of this world are the firms that most looking for a way out join, or can get recruited into better consultancies? (no offence to any deloitters).

Hi,I was thinking about the health Care industry: Johnson & Johnson, BIOTRONIK or MEDTRONIC .I am maybe wrong but I have the feeling that you can only do a career in Consulting with a serious experience in the industry. Where you see what are the results of your decisions because you can do mistakes.
