Interested to know about this forum's experiences with Amdocs Consulting. Having searched previous threads, the info is quite scarce. What is the culture like?Growth in UK?Salary/ Progression outlook?Major clients? The role at Amdocs is being pitched as a CRM Business Consultant role with an operational focus. Does that actually mean it will largely entail SI/ Implementation type consulting?I'd like to know some experiences that will help me decide whether to pursue with Amdocs. Many thanks

I have worked with Amdocs Consulting for about 2 years now and can give you a bit of insight on your questions:1. Culture – to be honest, it’s a fairly relaxed atmosphere; but that’s not to say expectations aren’t high and aggressive. It's just very much about excellence and quality. Most projects are quite good on work/life balance and ensuring that employees have it but it is a professional services environment so there's always a project going live! Professional development is sort of driven by oneself; but the structure is there if someone wants it. Remember they are only about 3 years old – so lots of this is still developing. If you want a very structured environment, then this would not be for you, but if you are looking for an environment of growth, change and transformation - where you can help define what it's going to look like, this is perfect! 2. Growth in the UK - This is still the fastest growing area within the EMEA practice – large SI-driven engagements, but quite a very boutique-style business/mgmt consulting engagements as well. Overall a good balance and major UK clients include BT, T-Mobile UK, Vodafone, Virgin Media; but they have clients and offices across the globe3. Salary and progression is competitive – progression is achieved through proving impact, value, clear and measurable contributions to client engagements and practice/offering development, and probably something to do with people believing in your potential to growth and develop even further. 4. Answered in point 3 regarding the UK

Hi,You mention offices worldwide...What's the likelihood of international opportunity? Is this actively encouraged or would it require a lot of effort? Also do you know the salary for each of the bands? Or if not for a senior consultant with 3 years experience at major mobile telco?
