OK, (slow day), what has crept into everyday English (usually from the US) that really annoys you?Mine's asking for something with "can I get a...", usually not followed by 'please'.

Obviously the entry criteria at ACN has been dumbed down - this is English language at early secondary school level.

i agree it should be primary school-level grammar, but the way our education sector is going, I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't taught until GCSE level - worrying, to say the least...
