Hi,I have got an offer from accenture consulting for c1 with salary in bracket of 43-45K. Looking at my exp of 10 years(out of which 3 yrs as project manager), what is that i should expect?All my previous exp is IT based but with non-consulting org.I have tried negotiating, they have said it is a very competitive package.Please advise asap! thats the correct level for C1.However if you have 10years experience you haven't sold yourself very well if they offer you C1. They have not much scope for pay variations within grades and if they think you are C1 they wont change now

Hi, Thanks for teh response.actually i was asked my salary expectation at tha partner interview and i feel based on which they have offered me grades. I had got a very positive response during the ineterview. am currently into services sector and looking to shift to consulting, are there chances that services exp is not counted fully? is it the best opportunity to shift to consulting.

Hey. I got 3 years experience. Currently a PM in a smaller firm. Offered a C1. Salary in the range you are mentioning. They are very strict to when it comes to salary.. You should be happy if they give you 44k at C1. I am lookin into the bigger picture, if your hot stuff, they will realise until next review (Sep 09) that you really are a C3-material... then you´ll end up near 55k. I still believe in the fast-track promotion if ur a top performer.
