What do you do when your assignment manager is away (abroad, meetings in the office, other assignments...etc. etc.) and you basically have nothing to do?I am in a PMO support role at the moment som it's hard for me to "find" my own work,.. I am doing what I am told (a project plan here, a business case there..) but most of the time I am doing,.. nada.I spend a lot of time on FT.com (and here as well) and I bet that doesn't look all that good to client staff looking over my shoulder...What do you do to look busy? How long are you supposed to sit like this before you demand that your line manager finds you an alternative assignment?
