I currently work as an IT Consultant ( business analysis etc). I want to move more into strategy consulting. Is an MBA from a top school the best way to acheive this?

IT work tends to be quite project focussed and intellectually minimalist. I suspect that you will need a top MBA to get into a strat house. I fear your lack of any meaningful commercial experience would hold you backZB
