They are very highly regarded by their clients, but awareness is less once you move outside of the sphere in which they operate. Into, for example, the university students that populate this board.Clients include the majority of the big PE firms (although the really big deals have gone quiet now), banks and corporates across multiple industries. Life sciences, financial services, airlines and a few others are v strong. They do a level of modelling far above that which you will see at most other firms, ie if required they will model a whole rail system for the UK, complete with train times and numbers of trains and numbers of passengers etc. Revenue growth over the last year has been well above average for the industry by all accounts. People join and leave as much as anywhere else. Analysts typically leave to private equity and VC type roles after a few years.I doubt many people would choose LEK over Bain right now, but this is very much a function of brand and awareness - the job is exactly the same.
