I work for a big four consultancy and alot of those at senior con/manager level have been poached by leading IBs for 'internal consulatancy roles.'I have a few questions and would appreciate anyone with the relevant experience helping me out. What do the roles entail and what the role is actually like? (ie the reality relative to the recruitment consultant blurb). Also, are internal consultants (non IT) seen as the jokes within the banking world and what sort of salaries do they earn? - obviously nothing near the bankers' salaries?
