Hello, I am just graduated (Master's degree of Business Administration), and have also 3 years of experience, including one consulting mission fo a humanitarian organization.Currently looking for a job within the management consultancy industry at London, I was wondering about being a volunteer for a consultancy company working for non profit organizations. I think it could be a way to gain more experence and to meet people within the consulantcy industry.First: do you think it is a good idea, as a job search approach?Second: do you know some companies providing consultancy services for non profit organization?Thanks for your help.

there are two ways to help - either voluntary as you say, or... would you not be better using your MBA to get a highly paid consulting job, and then if you want to support a humanitatian organisation just donate your salary.

Anon, option 1 and 2 are not even close to being comparable...unless your annual impact on the companies that you consult to is equal to your after tax salary+bonus...65,000???!!!Elodie, I do know that Bain & Co has an affiliate called The Bridgespan Group that advises nonprofits.
