Hi there,My question is simple: What are the prospects for a newly qualified ACA within one of the well known consulting firms:BAIN/McKinsey/PA/LEK etc?My credentials:2.1 from Top London Uni (LSE/Imperial) 3 yrs Real Estate, Insurance & Investment Management background in audit.Trained with the leading BIG 4 Audit firm in London.I couldn't find a similar thread on the forum, apologies if there already is one.Many thanksJH

The ACA is fairly irrelevant; what grades did you get in your degree/A levels and from what uni?

Should qualify this by adding that your ACA would be relevant to one of the Big 4 firms - KPMG etc would probably be more interested than say MBB or LEK etc.

Although ACA arent tradtional academcis they do 'add value' and show another skill set although i don't think Bain etc. are necessarily looking for accountants. A lot of places test you now anyway to test your abilities.The real test is getting through the interviews!You'll never know if you apply
