I've been offered a graduate position by Detica to work as a Technology Consultant in their Guidlford office. As a doctoral graduate the starting salary is about 27k basic plus bonuses etc which takes the package up to about 30k. What I wanted to before I accept the offer is what i can expect to earn with a couple of years assuming I put the required effort in and how easy is it to move up the corporate ladder? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Neil - I can&apos;t give you hard and fast data specifically relating to Detica, but if you download a copy of our recently published salary survey then the figures in there will be what Detica (and every other firm) has to pay to remain competitive. Thanks for the info Tony. I had looked at the report before but I wasn&apos;t sure if it was possible to put Detica into the categories given in the report. I&apos;m encouraged by the fact that you say Detica will have to remain competitive and so salaries will be in the region reported.
