While using a few words to explain a simple subject would appeal to some, I think it is important that we analyse this subject in great depth. It has come to my attention that when analysing the subject from the perspective of a respected exective search consultant with significant influence in the market, that the contributions of the old skool should not be overlooked. In essence these are the lifeblood of the forum. More importantly, they are the people who produce the words which others log in specifically to read. However, the role of HR in this process must also be understood. You have to understand how to make the recruiter work for you. In my own case, I always make sure that any comment I make on this forum is clear, concise, to the point and, if I do say so myself, correct in every sense. We must not forget this point when considering all the angles of this key subject

I would not include myself in the old skool contributors, much less suggest I am 'respected'. From the looks of it, the posts from SVP, Beng and Power of Greyskul are fake; although that cr@p from Pear looks to be highly authentic.

And another thing - with regard to the fake posting of my name after the (fake) SVP, I actually know both colleagues and candidates who talk in that way to try and sound remotely intelligent, and in particular a colleague here who spouts similar sh*t more or less without a breather.
