Well... I wasn't impressed by the people I met on the Atos stand at last year's career's event. I got the impression they thought they were smarter than everyone else, when in fact they're not.

Atos has a solid reputation in all of its core business sectors. It treats its employees fairly although there maybe lots of travel involved as majority of employees are on a mobile contract e.g. need to travel nationwide.

Solid company but relatively few good resources. I found the engagement managers to be very sales driven, quite annoying when you don't have a bonus target but required to sell. Its a good start career point but I've seen slicker operations.

A seriously poor company, lacks vision, capability, drive, passion and enthusiasm. Consultancy is slowly becoming pre-sales support for SI (no bad thing given their capability). The really good people left months ago leaving the light weights behind. I was delighted to leave many months ago (of my own volition)....on the fifth floor at Triton it looked like a scene from Metropolis, miserable looking people all at their workstations (as opposed to being out and billable!). If you want to enjoy life try Accenture, Deloittes, PWC, etc...Yes they treat people "fairly" but that's hardly a USP is it!oh and the salaries are less than impressive, and they play pretend partners (pay tops out at around £150k to £160k, not the £400k+ of proper partner models)

Hi Anon,What is the point you are trying to make? I'm asking this because you started the thread with a question and then you answered your own question.Anon if you have unresolved issues or do not like Atos for various reason please simply state them, otherwise it can be misleading to readers.Thanks.

Having wroked at Atos for some time ( and left) I feel I should make the following points to anyone thinking of applying:Atos is strong on process definition and business process reengineering optimisation, however it is not so strong on operational risk management and control framework definition and implementation. I found Atos very parochial in it sales and marketing approach, it didn't take a pragmatic and holistic view of its capabilites and service offering, thus it always never manged to get the work it should of done. One of the operational and strategic issues it faces is redefining its core capabilities and service strengths. It very much adopts a 'best of breed' appraoch to service delivery. Whilst this may be fine with orgs with unlimited money to spend, the canny finacially literate client are demanding a far more pragmatic and enduring set of frameworks, which I'm afraid Atos is still trying hard to deliver.
