I was wondering what the general impression is for a Deloitte Business Analyst. If I work as a BA with Deloitte for 2-3 few years, what are my chances of joining MBBB? What if I have an MBA in between?Thanks!!

In my experience it is pretty unlikely that someone doing 2-3 years at Deloitte could then transition directly into McKinsey. Although, if helps you get onto a great MBA (Harvard, Stanford, INSEAD, LBS) it is definitely possible.

And after a few years at Deloitte you might realise that you don't want to work for MBBB anyway. Too much like hard work.

Deloitte is a good Firm but it rarely if ever, leads to MBBB.

What about when it comes to top MBA applications? Would having experience as a Deloitte BA stand a reasonable chance for admission? (compared to MBBB experience, ACA/CIMA + audit role, 2 yrs of industry experience)

My Insead class had zillions of consultants with 2-5 years expereince. Most of 2-3 years were Mckinsey and Bain, most of the 4-5 years were senior consultants at Accenture and Deloitte. Im sure you can get into a top b-school, but b-school should not be a goal in itself - will it really help you get where you want? this is what you shoudl ask

What are the reasons for why MBBB seems to be so reluctant of hiring out of competitors?I´ve been working at a big4 consultancy for the last two years while, at the same time, finishing my MSc...Do you meen that my experience is something that would decrease my chances of getting into, lets say, MBBB after finishing my MSc?
